Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups (960ml) chicken broth
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 2 cups (200g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to ‘Sauté’ mode. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
- Add the chicken broth, potatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to ‘Manual’ or ‘Pressure Cook’ mode for 8 minutes.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions or parsley.
