Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet (1.25oz) taco seasoning
- 2 cups (480ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (240ml) salsa
- 2 cups (200g) uncooked pasta (e.g., elbow or penne)
- 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to ‘Sauté’ mode. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
- Add taco seasoning, chicken broth, salsa, and pasta. Stir to combine.
- Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to ‘Manual’ or ‘Pressure Cook’ mode for 5 minutes.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and heavy cream until melted and combined.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro or green onions.
