Ingredients
- 1 pound of baby carrots
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by washing the baby carrots thoroughly in cold water. This removes any dirt and ensures they are clean for cooking.
- Plug in your Instant Pot and add the baby carrots directly to the inner pot.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons of honey over the carrots. The combination of vinegar and honey will create the perfect sweet and tangy glaze.
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the mixture. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. These seasonings will enhance the natural sweetness of the carrots.
- Seal the Instant Pot with the lid and turn the knob to the ‘Sealing’ position. Select the ‘Pressure Cook’ or ‘Manual’ setting, and set the timer for 4 minutes.
