Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (120ml) chicken broth
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to the ‘Sauté’ function. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pot.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic to the Instant Pot. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add the chopped cabbage and chicken broth to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to ‘Manual’ or ‘Pressure Cook’ mode for 5 minutes.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
- Open the lid and stir in the cooked bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
