Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) water
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame seeds (optional)
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to the ‘Sauté’ function. Add the sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the chopped cabbage, soy sauce, and water. Stir to combine.
  3. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to ‘Manual’ or ‘Pressure Cook’ mode for 3 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking cycle is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
  5. Open the lid and stir the cabbage. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with sliced green onions.
